Music Department
Meet the instruments in May!
Each spring our instrumental music staff demonstrates musical instruments to our elementary students. The purpose of this demonstration is to acquaint our children with musical instruments and their sounds. This is the first step in recruiting students for beginning instrumental music lessons in our district.
On Monday, May 6, 7 p.m. at BCHS, third graders and their parents are invited to listen to our teachers perform and talk about stringed instruments. Fourth grade students and their parents are invited to listen to teachers play woodwind, brass and percussion instruments on Monday, May 13, 7 p.m. at BCHS. Read the invitation from Music Supervisor David Norman [PDF].
Thank you for your attention.
