Accordingly, the district offers students opportunities to participate in more than 20 sports across three seasons. The district is a member of the New York State Athletic Association, competing as a Class A school in Section II. BC's league affiliation is with the Suburban Scholastic Council, competing in the Council's south division.

Spring Scholar-Athlete Teams named
Congratulations to the following BC spring sports teams named scholar-athlete teams by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA): boys' lacrosse, girls' lacrosse, boys' tennis, girls' track & field and boys' track & field. The honor is assigned to a team with an academic average of 90 or above.
A meeting was held April 29 at BCMS to discuss New York state's Selection/Classification program. Selective classification is a process created by the State Education Department for screening students to determine their readiness to compete in interscholastic athletic competition by evaluating their physical maturity, fitness and skill.
