Healthy Kids Week April 21-25

Healthy kids week this year will run from April 21-25. Two of our planned activities for Eagle are Price Chopper Kids Cooking Club and Regional Food Pantry Backpack donations.

Price Chopper Kids Cooking Club will be coming on Wednesday, April 23, to work with our children on healthy cooking and food choices. The same day we will also be collecting donations for the Regional Food Pantry Backpack program, which supplies food to children in need. Please see this flyer for details on requested foods (which will also be sent home) [PDF].

On Wednesday, April 23, the Price Chopper Kids Cooking Club will be coming to Eagle to teach our kids healthy eating and food choices!! One of their activities will be making fruit desserts. Jodie, from Price Chopper, will need at least 2 parent volunteers to help her. The hours needed would be from 9:30 to 11:10 a.m. and then again from 1:45 to 3 p.m. If you can volunteer, even for an hour or two, please email Carol Greenblatt at greenblm@mac.com with your name and availability by Weds, April 16.
