Welcome to the Eagle PTO

The Eagle Elementary PTO is a self funding, non profit organization that works with parents, teachers and community members in order to promote high standards in the education and well being of our children. Our purpose is to 1. Communicate, 2. Motivate, 3. Fund Raise, and 4. Facilitate.

Our PTO is only as strong as the commitments made by our parents. We need you and your support. Please check out the Committees link at the left and see how with just a little time and involvement we can help our kids and their new school "Soar to Success"!

We welcome and encourage all families to join the PTO – we have a lot of work to do this year and we need energetic and enthusiastic participation – come to PTO meetings, contact board members and committee chairs, and share your thoughts, talents, ideas.

2014-15 PTO News

Last week the Eagle PTO passed the 2014-15 Budget, By-Law Revisions, and Elected 2014-15 Officers: Tracey Nautel & Carol Greenblatt, Co-Presidents; Jane Barnes & Tara Rinckey, Co-Vice Presidents; Erica O'Brien & Elisabeth Kranson, Co-Treasurers; Deborah Stevens & Melissa Griesbach, Co-Secretaries. If you would like any further information on these topics or the Eagle PTO in general please send an email to BCSDEaglePTO@gmail.com.

The Eagle Garden, Vegetation Sensation, is back!

The PTO generously donated the funds necessary to build a proper fence around the garden to help keep hungry critters out and Eagle staff and students have been busy getting the garden up and growing!

Now the Garden committee needs your help! We are looking for Eagle families to sign up for one week of garden care over the summer break. You would be responsible for visiting the garden 2 times during your week to weed, water, and harvest. You may choose to either keep what is harvested or donate it to the Squash Hunger box at the Delmar Marketplace. Once you sign up for your week, the Garden Committee chair, Pam McIntosh, will be in touch with details you may need to care for the garden. Please click here: http://vols.pt/ctYDVc to sign up for Eagle Garden - Summer Care on @VolunteerSpot today!

If you have any questions about the garden now or over the summer, please don’t hesitate to contact Pam at pgmcintosh@gmail.com.

Student Directory Order Form

In keeping with tradition, we’re pleased to offer Eagle families the opportunity to be
listed in – and purchase – the Eagle Student Directory, a great way to be in touch with old and new friends! For those new to Eagle, the Directory provides contact information for your child/ren’s classmates, organized both by class and by last name.

You DO NOT need to purchase a Directory to be listed – please indicate whether you would like to be listed at the bottom of the order form (and complete and submit the form if you do!).

To order a Directory, submit your check to "Eagle PTO" with the completed form: Eagle Student Directory Order Form [PDF].

If you have any questions, please contact Michele Bernasconi at eagledirectory@gmail.com or 439-6817.
