Directions to Elsmere Elementary

Elsmere Elementary is located at 247 Delaware Ave. in Delmar, NY.

 

From the New York State Thruway

Get off the Thruway at Exit 23. Follow signs for Route 9W North, which will put you on McAlpin Avenue. Continue straight on McAlpin until it ends at Delaware Avenue. Turn left onto Delaware Ave., and continue on Delaware about 1 1/2 to 2 miles (you will pass Delaware Plaza on your left). Elsmere School is on the right, just before Elsmere Avenue.

From the Northway

Take the 90 East Exit off the Northway and follow it to the Slingerlands/Route 85 Exit (Exit 4). Follow Route 85 through the first roundabout (Blessing Road). You will encounter a second roundabout at Maher Road. Enter the roundabout and take the third exit, Maher Road (at your left upon entering the roundabout), and follow to New Scotland Road. At New Scotland Road, turn right. At the third roundabout, Cherry Avenue Extension (Route 140), enter the roundabout and again take the third exit (at your left upon entering the roundabout) onto Cherry Avenue Extension (Route 140). Take the next left onto Kenwood Avenue. Follow Kenwood until the Four Corners intersection at Delaware Avenue, and turn left onto Delaware. Stay on Delaware for about a mile. Elsmere School is on your left, just after Elsmere Avenue.

From Downtown Albany

Take Delaware Avenue (Route 443 West), heading out of downtown and into Delmar. Continue past Delaware Plaza on the left. Elsmere School is on the right, just before Elsmere Avenue.
