Summer Enrichment Program 2014

The Summer Enrichment Program offers students entering grades 3-8 in our district an opportunity to engage in hands on learning while still enjoying the perks of summer. A taste of the classes we offer are cooking, movie making, letterboxing, and classes in various sports, among others.

There are two one-week sessions running from July 7 to July 18 with three sessions offered per day. Find out more information by viewing our flyer and visit our website for a full list of course offerings and registration.

Hoffmans Car Wash

Elsmere's Annual Spring Clean Up!

Please join us on Sunday, April 27, from 1-3 p.m. for our fourth annual clean up! Boy scouts, Girl scouts, community service groups, family and friends are all welcome to help! In lieu of Earth Day, we will clean up our grounds and do some work in the vegetable garden as well. Please bring your garden tools: rakes, shovels, wheel barrel etc. (please label), garden gloves and water bottles. We will again raffle off an Earth Day basket for those who participate! Litterless Lunch Week is April 21-25

Get ready and challenge yourself to pack a 100 percent "litterless lunch" during the week of April 21-25. Every student who brings a lunch packed in reusable containers and produces no waste at all  will receive a ticket and be entered into a drawing for special prizes. Recap of Common Core In The Classroom

To help parents better understand what our curriculum looks like to students in the classroom under the state’s new Common Core Learning Standards, on Feb. 10, teachers at the elementary, middle and high school level described new aspects of the curriculum, such as writing and close reading in ELA to algorithms and fractions in Math.
