Welcome to the Hamagrael PTA
Dear Hamagrael Parents and Friends:
As we look forward to spring, we are anticipating many fun and exciting programs at Hamagrael. Thank you to all the people who made are winter events possible. Family Math and Science nights and our annual Family Fun/Skate Nights were great successes!
In March we look forward to:

• March 19th: Science Fair
• March 27th: Kindergarten Family Math and
Science Night, 6:30-8 p.m.

Also in March, look for information on our Silvergraphics fundraiser. Detailed information on all these events can be found below on our webpage. With continued support of our fundraisers and PTA sponsored programs, we can make a real difference in our students’ school experience.
To keep updated with events coming this winter and spring, keep an eye out for the next PTA Newsletter to come home with your student. Each PTA newsletter will come home in your oldest child’s folder and it will keep you up to date with all that is going on.
The next PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 6th at 7 p.m. We will be meeting in the library as this meeting will coincide with our fun, Family Game Night! Please join us to learn more about our upcoming programs, fundraisers, and how to become involved.
Correction: We will NOT have babysitting available for our March 6th PTA meeting.

Silvergraphics Fundraiser
Our school is pleased to support a student artworks project this spring. This project will be using your students artwork to decorate a multitude of item choices including totes, note cards, kitchen products and more. This project like all other fundraisers throughout the year will help to raise money for school programs and student resources.
The Spring Book Fair is Coming!
The Spring Book Fair will be held Monday and Tuesday, March 5-6 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Wednesday, March 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It’s a great way to stock up on all the latest and greatest books while supporting our school.
The Science Fair is coming!
This year, the Hamagrael Science Fair will be
held on Monday, March 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. It’s fun and all
students in grades 1-5 are encouraged to participate.
Now is the time to start thinking about ideas for a science fair
project. Do you have a sea shell collection to share, or do you want
to test which paper towel is strongest? Do you wonder why singing
something helps you remember it, or how bubblegum works? What’s YOUR
idea? Look around – ideas are everywhere (not just in books)!

participation or want to help as a volunteer (we need volunteers!),

We need you! Committee Chair openings for 2011-2012
We are in need of Chairs for the following committee/fundraisers:
- Pit Party - We need 5th grade parents and others to assist with this great event that happens at the end of the school year.
- Summer Camp Resource Fair - This coincides with the Spring Science Fair. We have lots of resources and would need someone willing to share these with parents attending the Science Fair.
