• Moving Up Ceremony, 7 p.m.

A Note from Principal Dave Ksanznak
June 20, 2014
Our final day of school for the 2013-14 school
year is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25. We will have a 12:10 p.m.
dismissal on that day and your child will be bringing home a purple
slip on Tuesday the 24th for you to complete to help us with our
early dismissal on Wednesday. On Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. we
will have our 5th grade “Moving Up” ceremony. This is an opportunity
to wish our 5th graders all the best as they head off to the middle
school. It has been a wonderful group to work with and I know they
will be successful in the next phase of their education.
We will send out an SNN at some point on Friday, June 27 to let you know when your child’s report card will be ready to view on BC@Home.
On Wednesday your child will bring home their AIMSweb report for the spring benchmark along with a letter from our Assistant Superintendent of Schools, Jody Monroe, about the reports.
It has been a lot of fun working with your child(ren) this year. As parents you should be extremely proud of your child as they have grown so much both academically and socially. Each year that goes by makes me realize how fortunate I am to be the Principal of Hamagrael Elementary. It is a special place with amazing kids, supportive parents and a staff that puts the needs of children first.
Have a wonderful summer and thanks for all of your support.
