Slingerlands Bookworm
It’s time for the publication of our annual literary magazine the Slingerlands Bookworm!
Students in kindergarten through fifth grade are encouraged to submit creative writing pieces (short stories or poems no longer than 1 typed page) and black and white illustrations (8 ½ x 11 paper) for the Bookworm.
It’s a great chance to share your writing with our school community and to see your work in print!
Submissions may be delivered to the “Bookworm” box in the library or e-mailed to Ingrid Sorensen at soreyn@verizon.net.
Please send in your submission by Friday March 2, 2012 (early entries are encouraged) and please remember to include your name, grade and classroom teacher. The Bookworm will be available in early April and is sponsored by the Slingerlands PTA. Please click here to see the letter to Slingerlands parents for more information.
