Coordinated Health Team seeks to improve the health & learning of students

Filed in Archive by on April 7, 2017

Over the past school year the district has made an effort to improve the health and learning of students by creating the Coordinated Health Team. The Coordinated Health Team was created as a systematic and integrated approach to meeting the needs of staff and students and to help foster a positive and safe school environment.

The Coordinated Health Team is a multi-disciplined committee with the intent to implement the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model. Utilizing the WSCC model will enable the Coordinated Health Team to implement a whole child approach to education, which ensures that each student is healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged; sets the standard for comprehensive, sustainable school improvement; and provides for long-term student success.
