The Bethlehem Central United Employees Association will be offering four scholarships of $500.00 each to graduating seniors. The Larry Prater Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two graduating seniors who plan to continue their education at a 2-year community college, business, technical or trade school. The Katherine “Katy” DePorte Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to two graduating seniors attending any college. Applications are available on Naviance or you may download one from the BCUEA.org website. Please return completed applications to the Counseling Center no later than Monday, March 27th.
Attention Junior Boys: Are you interested in state and government, and in the top 50% of your class? If so, Boys’ State is for you. Boys’ State is a weeklong residential program where participants become part of the operation of local, county, and state government. Interested students please leave your name in the Counseling Center by Friday, March 24th. Interviews will be held on Sunday, April 2nd.
We have just completed a fantastic trip to South Africa. There is still time to join us next year for an equally exciting trip to England and Scotland. If you have returned a permission slip, enroll, if you already have one, return your permission slip to Mr. Lewis. If you still need information, stop by room D106.
The Genders and Sexualities Alliance will be meeting Tuesday, March 28th in Mr. Mitchell’s room, E205. We will be having a presentation on how to better express ourselves followed by a discussion. There will be snacks provided. New members are always welcome.
