BCHS Morning Announcements

If you requested an ID from the Main Office, please stop by during your lunch or free period to pick it up.  Thank you. 

Seniors:  It’s time to order your cap & gown packages for graduation!  Jostens will be accepting your orders at BCHS for 2 days:  tomorrow, Thursday, January 19th and Friday, January 20th in front of the cafeteria entrance, periods 4 through 7.  Don’t forget to bring in your order form indicating your height and weight, along with your payment.  If you did not receive an order packet in homeroom, extras are available in the HS main office.  For your convenience, you may also place your order online at  

We still need poets to read their poems at the Arts Showcase tomorrow, Thursday, January 19th.  See your English teacher to sign up!

A representative from the New York Army National Guard will be here today, Wednesday, January 18th from 10:15 am to 1:15 pm. Students interested in the Army National Guard should stop in at the Counseling Center during their free time.

Art Club will meet tomorrow, Thursday, January 19th in room D225. New members are always welcome and snacks will be provided.

The Snow Ball will be held on Saturday, February 11th. Please be advised that if you have any discipline referrals or owe textbooks to the school (including library books) you may not be eligible to attend this event.

If you plan on bringing a guest to the Snow Ball you need to pick up a Guest Authorization form in the Main Office. These forms are due back no later than Tuesday, February 7th.

Speech and Debate Club will meet after school today, Wednesday, January 18th in Ms. Turo’s room, D201. All members should attend this meeting and new members are welcome to come. We will be preparing for our upcoming tournament on Saturday, January 28th.

Come to Latin Club today, Wednesday, January 18th after school in C106; Mrs.Karp’s room.

Because of the three day weekend, History Bowl will be held this Friday, January 20th in Ms. Clark’s room, D118. We will discuss upcoming tournaments and practice questions. There will be snacks.

There will be a mandatory Science Olympiad meeting on Thursday, January 19th after school in Mr. Mowry’s room, B106. We will discuss regionals, t-shirt orders and the fundraiser.
