Learner-in-Chief: A note from the Superintendent

Why do we need administrators? Whenever I meet up with old high school friends the first thing they remind me of is that I ended up as a school administrator. They seem to conclude from my regular visits to the principal’s office in those years, that I was not the ideal student nor the best behaved — despite what people may think. And still, I ended up becoming a principal and now a superintendent. (Maybe they just think I got what I deserved!) READ MORE

The BCHS Science Bowl Team

Bethlehem Central High School's Science Bowl Team captured the regional Science Bowl championship at the GE Global Research Center in Niskayuna on March 5, and will again move on to the national competition in Washington D.C. this spring. READ MORE

Board considering facilities study
More than 300 participants - both in-person and online - participated in the first of two public facilities forums on Monday, March 7. The Board of Education is considering a feasibility report that includes the potential options of closing an elementary school and the district's central offices at 90 Adams Place.
