Learning doesn't stop in the summertime!
BC's Extended School Year Program, which is run by the Special Education and Student Support Services Department each summer, is helping more than 130 BC students retain and build academic, social and communication skills as they go from one school year to the next. In addition to rigorous academic instruction and services such as occupational and physical therapy, speech, and counseling, students generally take part in art, music and physical education activities on any given day.
