On Wednesday, July 12, the Bethlehem Central Board of Education held its annual organizational meeting, where two new members were sworn in to serve on the seven-person Board and the group elected new officers for 2017-18.

New Board members Meredith Moriarty and Holly Dellenbaugh were sworn in at the meeting, the first of the new school fiscal year, after being elected in May. Christine Beck, who was re-elected to her second term on the Board, also took the oath of office. All three will serve three-year terms.

Beck was elected as the new president of the Bethlehem Central Board of Education, replacing Matt Downey, who recently retired and chose not to run for re-election. Lynne Lenhardt was re-elected to serve as vice president. Their terms are effective immediately.
