Instructional and Administrative Employment
Bethlehem Central School District accepts applications for teachers and administrators through the Capital Region On-Line Application System (OLAS). Paper applications are not accepted. All available positions are listed below and will also be advertised on OLAS.
You may submit your application, resume and cover letter (include professional aspirations and philosophy of education plus special experience, training and interests) on the OLAS website as a general applicant or for a specific job posting, unless otherwise noted.
Please do not send any supporting materials (certification, credential file, references, etc.) to the district unless you are contacted by the district about a specific position.

Substitute Teaching at Bethlehem Central
Individuals interested in substituting in the district should register with the district uses the Capital Region BOCES Substitute Service, which can be contacted through their Web site or at (518) 464-3918.
Substitute teachers earn $85 per day. A minimum of two years of college is required to become a substitute teacher in Bethlehem. New York State Teacher certification is not required, but if you are certified, you will be limited to a maximum of 40 days of substituting per school year.
