December 23, 2016

Dear Parents,

On behalf of the Hamagrael Elementary School staff I want to wish you a happy, healthy and safe holiday season.  It has been a fun week here at school and the children are all very excited about the upcoming holidays and winter break.  All Bethlehem Central Schools will be closed December 24-January 2.  We will be back in session on Tuesday, January 3.

There will be plenty of events going on here at Hamagrael.  On Thursday, January 5 we have our monthly CAPER program which will begin at 6:30 .m. in the auditorium.

On Wednesday, January 11 Dr. Randy Cale will be at Hamagrael for a parent program titled “Managing Technology: Sensible Ways to Set Limits and Why You Must Do This Now”.  This program is open to all parents in our school district and will begin at 9:30 a.m. in our cafeteria.  Also on the 11th we have our PTA meeting which begins at 7 p.m. in our cafeteria.

Our Grades 1-5 Family Math & Science Nights are scheduled for January 17, 18, and 19.  We will be sending information about this program after the break.

The BCSD Elementary School parent-teacher conference days are January 25, 26 and 27.  We will dismiss children at 11:30 a.m. on the conference days.

We finish up the month with our Hamagrael Winter Concert on Tuesday, January 31.  Here is the schedule for the concert:

Hamagrael Winter Concert

2:10 and 7 p.m.

Grades 4 & 5 Orchestra

Grade 5 Band

Grade 4 Choir

Both performances will be in our auditorium.  The 5th grade choir concert will be held in February or March.  When the date is finalized we will let you know.

Thanks for all of your support and for being partners with us throughout the year.  We have a wonderful school community and I feel fortunate to have the pleasure of being the principal here at Hamagrael.

Have a wonderful holiday season and all the best in 2017!

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
