Dear Parents,

Where does the time go?  It doesn’t seem that long ago that we were welcoming everyone back for the 2017-18 school year and now here we are with the last full week of school upon us.  You should be extremely proud of your child(ren) as they have been a great group to work with. They come to school excited very day and it has been fun watching them grow academically and socially over the course of the school year.  Thanks so much for all of your help as partners in your child’s education; it truly makes a difference.

On Tuesday, June 12 our students will have the opportunity to attend a performance by “Kit’s Interactive Theatre”.  We had the program here last year and it was well received by our students and staff. Kit brings history to life in a program that features improvisation, dance, music and a great deal of humor.  Our K-2 students will attend a performance at 9:30am and our students in grades 3-5 will attend a performance at 2:15pm.

Our annual Hamagrael Field Day is all set for Friday, June 15.  This is always a favorite of our students and staff as there are so many fun activities planned throughout the day.  Thanks so much to all of the volunteers who will be here throughout the day helping and to our coordinators Kathy O’Meara and Tanya Rhodes who have put in many hours getting this event together for us.

The colors for each grade level for our Hamagrael Field Day are:

Kindergarten: Yellow

Grade One: Red

Grade Two: Green

Grade Three: Blue

Grade Four: Orange

Grade Five: Students will wear their Moving-up T-shirts.

If you have unused or gently used school supplies that you do not need, the Bethlehem Central School District is collecting supplies for the Bethlehem Food Pantry who will provide them to families in need in our community.  We will have boxes set up in our front hallway from Monday, June 11 through Thursday, June 21 if you have supplies to donate.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Sincerely,

Dave Ksanznak
