Bethlehem Central Middle School held its first Intramural National History Bee on Tuesday, Dec. 20.

Seventy-four students answered a series of questions covering United States and World History.  Eric Wolfsberg, an eighth grader, was the overall winner.  Justin Cohen, also an eighth grader, was the runner-up.  Alfonso Prieto and Brien Maney were the seventh-grade top scorers, and the sixth-grade top scorer was Michael Connelly. (See their photos below.)

Eric Wolfsberg and Justin Cohen will represent BCMS at the Regional History Bee.  Both have an opportunity to move on to the National History Bee in Washington D.C., which will be televised on the History Channel.

The National History Bee champion will win a $50,000 scholarship.  Good luck, boys!
