BCMS to Perform Guys and Dolls Jr.

Get your tickets early, previous shows have sold out!

Bethlehem Middle School students are hard at work preparing for their production of Guys and Dolls Jr.

Performances will take place on January 31 and February 2-4 at 7 p.m. in the Middle School Auditorium. A snow date is scheduled for February 5 at 2 p.m.

An exuberant show, Guys and Dolls Jr. takes you back to an era filled with colorful characters and toe-tapping songs like “Luck Be A Lady Tonight” and “Sit Down You’re Rocking the Boat.” The heart of the story is an unlikely romance amid the backdrop of the big city, dice games and dazzling dancing.

Over 120 cast and crew members have been working together since mid-October and about 70 parents work in various "backstage" roles. Approximately 2,200 tickets are sold for the four-night run.

"The students are amazing,” said Directors Katie Daly and Lynda Conway. “They work countless hours to build sets, learn songs and rehearse. The result is not only an entertaining show, but also a valuable experience working together, gaining confidence and stretching themselves.”

Tickets are on sale to the public Sunday, Jan. 29, from noon to 3 p.m. They will also be available on show nights at 5:30 p.m. in the Middle School lobby. Students can also purchase tickets January 24-26 in the cafeteria during lunch. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for seniors and students.

Purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment. Shows have sold out for the last few years with only a few tickets available on show nights.
