Bus safety/training sessions for incoming kindergarten students

The BEAT bus safety team will hold a series of late summer bus training sessions for incoming kindergarten students to learn the basics of ridership and safety.

All parents of incoming kindergarten students are strongly encouraged to bring their child to one of these events.

Please call the school where you are planning to attend the session so the BEAT team. Please note, although the sessions are scheduled at four elementary schools they are open to students of all six district elementary schools.

Dates and times

• Slingerlands Elementary: Tuesday, August 31, 5:30 p.m., Call 439-7681

• Glenmont Elementary: Wednesday Sept. 1st, 5:30 p.m., Call 463-1154

• Elsmere Elementary: Thursday Sept. 2, 5:30 p.m., Call 439-4996

• Eagle Elementary: Friday, Sept. 3, 5:30 p.m., Call 694-8825

The BEAT Team also suggests that students wear nametags, if possible.
