Apr. 6: One positive COVID case

One new case of COVID-19 was confirmed today, Apr. 6, in the Bethlehem Central School District.

A student at the Elsmere Elementary School has tested positive. There was possible exposure at school and on a school bus on Tuesday, Mar. 30 and Wednesday, Mar. 31. All contacts have been identified and notified of the need to quarantine. The student will not return to school until cleared by the health department.

If your child tests positive for COVID-19, please notify your child’s school as soon as possible. The school district assists the Albany County Department of Health with contact tracing when the health department determines there may have been exposure at school.
