L to R: Katie Farman, Langston Williams and Eva Castagna.

On a first-of-its-kind list celebrating the scholastic achievements and volunteerism of young women from across the Capital Region, the Bethlehem Central School District had a strong presence with two students and one recent graduate featured in the Women@Work magazine, a publication of the Times Union

They are: Eva Castagna (senior), Langston Williams (junior) and Katie Farman (class of 2017), who were included in the Women@Work “20 Under 20” list. Castagna and Farman were named as part of the inaugural 20 Under 20 Class while Williams received an honorable mention award. All three were on hand for a reception held Saturday, November 25 at the Glen Sanders Mansion in Scotia. The event was a joint effort between Women@Work and the Girl Scouts of Northeastern New York and its Young Women’s Leadership Initiative.

Castagna, Williams and Farman are among a select group of young women in the area honored for having logged countless hours of community and volunteer service and for maintaining high academic standards while doing so. You can read more about them in the Women@Work feature:
