BCHS 2018 SAT scores highest in Capital Region

Students in the Bethlehem Central School District who took the SAT in 2018 earned an average score of 1238, the highest among all school districts in the greater Capital Region and the fifth highest of all 450 upstate New York districts. The average score statewide was 1068.

Students at BC scored on average, 614 on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section, and 624 on the Math section.

In addition, Bethlehem had the highest participation rate among the Top 20 districts, with nearly 82 percent of eligible students taking the exam. The SAT, administered by the College Board, is the standardized test most widely used for college admissions in the United States.
