Looking forward

  • Juniors & Seniors who are interested in applying for the scholarships that are awarded during the Academic Awards Ceremony in May, should apply through the Google Classroom page. This page has all the information you need about the scholarships as well as  application information and deadlines.

  • Course Selection will continue through February 12th, so look for your course selection pass in homeroom in the coming weeks.
  • Junior Conferences look for an email mid-February to sign-up for your Junior Conference. Conferences will begin the last week in February and continue through the end of April.
  • Seniors – Please update Naviance with your college decisions!

Scholarship Opportunities

To access active scholarships, please go to Naviance and navigate to the top right, under “Colleges”, scroll down to “Scholarships and Money” then choose “Scholarship List”.

  • ZONTA Young Women in Public Affairs – Young women only. Local winner will receive $1000 and be considered for the Zonta District award. YWPA recognizes a commitment to volunteering, evidence of leadership achievements, and dedication to empowering women worldwide. Applications are available on Naviance and at Deadline: February 28, 2020
  • AES Engineers Scholarship –  To be eligible the student must answer one of the essay questions that they will find at  Award is based on character as determined by evaluating the essay submitted. More information is available at: This link is also available on Naviance. Deadline: October 5, 2020
  • Abbot and Fenner Scholarships – Students will submit an essay on the topic that appears on the scholarship page of their web site:  Full details are available on the site.  The link is also available on Naviance. Deadline – June 12, 2020
  • First New York Federal Credit Union – Four $1,000 scholarships are awarded. You must be a First New York FCU member, a graduating high school senior planning to attend a 2 or 4-year college and be an active volunteer in the community. Applications are available on Naviance. Deadline: March 6, 2020
  • BHOS Vocal Scholarship Competition – $1500 and $1000 BHOS Vocal Scholarship: To be eligible, all candidates must complete an application form which is available at  or by contacting Susanne Margono at  or by mail at 187 Grand Avenue, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Auditions will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2020. Information is available on Naviance.  Deadline: March 7, 2020
  • Student-View Scholarship – $5,000, $1,000, and $500 scholarships awarded. Complete a 15 to 20-minute application survey about colleges in your area. Winner selected through a random drawing. Go to Deadline: April 22, 2020
  • NYSUT Retiree Council 10 – Award will be given to a graduating senior pursuing a degree in education at either a two-year college transfer program or a four-year college. Application available on Naviance Deadline: March 15, 2020
  • Bethlehem Lions Club – Wallace H. Erlichman Memorial Scholarship – Two $1500 college scholarships will be awarded to residents of Bethlehem attending high school based on financial need, community service, and academic achievement.  Applications are available on Naviance. Deadline: March 27, 2020
  • Firemen’s Association of the State of New York – Twenty-five $1,500 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors who are planning to attend a two or four-year college or accredited technical school and are a member in good standing with FASNY. You must be serving as a current Junior Firefighter, Explorer Scout, RAM or volunteer. Applications are available on Deadline: March 15, 2020
  • Farm Credit East Scholarship – $1500 scholarships to students pursuing careers in agriculture, commercial fishing, or forest products industry. Application and essay details can be found at or on Naviance. Deadline: April 2, 2020
  • Capital Area Council of Churches – Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship – Awarded to a graduating senior who is: 1. Active in your school and faith community. 2. Understands and plans to apply the teachings of Dr. King. 3. Show evidence of academic potential and financial need. 4. Be accepted at an accredited college/university.  Application and details can be found at: or on Naviance.   Deadline: March 31, 2020
  • Upstate NY Hosta Society – $1,000 scholarship award will be given to a graduating senior who is interested in entering college or an accredited post-secondary vocational training program in one of the following fields of study: Landscape Design/Architect, Floriculture, Greenhouse Management, Landscape Maintenance, Gardener/Groundskeeper, Golf Course Maintenance, Arborist, Floral Design, Biology, Natural Resources, Ecology, Environmental Science or other type of Horticultural major.  Applications available on Naviance. Deadline: April 9, 2020
  • Adirondack Mountain Club – Scholarship Opportunities can be found online at
  • Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. – Albany, NY Alumnae Chapter announces its awards for high school seniors who reside in the Capital Region. They encourage student who also meet the following criteria to apply:  comes from a traditionally under representative background; high school senior with a minimum C+ (75%) GPA; student must be pursuing post-secondary education and in need of financial assistance.
