Boston University Trustee Scholarship Competition

High achieving students may apply for the Trustee Scholarship. To be considered, students must submit their application for admission with one Trustee Scholarship essay. More information about the Trustee Scholarship can be found on our website: http://www.bu.edu/admissions/tuition-aid/scholarships-financial-aid/first-year-merit/trustee. Deadline: December 1, 2019

Prudential Spirit of Community Awards

Are you a community volunteer? If so, you are eligible to apply! You could be a local winner, state winner (receiving $1000) or even national winner ($5000)! Apply at http://spirit.prudential.com.  Complete application and submit it to your counselor. One student from BCHS will be nominated. Deadline: November 5, 2019

Coca-Cola Scholars Program Scholarship

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship. Newcomer Mortuary Science Scholarship

Open to all students pursuing a full-time degree in mortuary science. For an application go to www.NFSGI.com/scholarship.  Deadline: October 25, 2019

Neil Hook Vocal Music Scholarship Award

$700 and the opportunity to perform at the May concert awarded to a graduating senior who will be attending college in the Fall and continuing their study of music. Up to five applicants will be chosen to audition. Applications and information are available on http://www.festivalcelebrationchoir.org.  Deadline:  February 3, 2020

  • BCHS Fall College Fair – October 17th, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at BCMS.
  • Senior Parent Financial Aid Night – October 17th, 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm at BCMS.
  • PSAT – Will be held at BCHS on Saturday, October 19th.  Register on MySchoolBucks.com. Registration deadline is Monday, October 7th.
  • AP Exams – Registration for AP exams is now open. Registration fee is $94 per exam. Log onto MySchoolBucks.com to register before November 1st!
  • FAFSA is now available: https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa
