Filed in Archive, BCHS by on September 2, 2020
Parents of high school students will be able to drop off student medications to the BCHS school nurse, according to the following schedule:
  • BCHS families only: Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at BCHS
The drop-off location will be at the high school, on the Van Dyke Road side of the school near the cafeteria (see map below).
The medication drop-off will be staffed by the school nurse team. The process for drop-off is outlined below:
  • Parents should pull up to the high school outside the cafeteria (see map below) where they will be greeted by a nurse who will be stationed outside.
  • Cars will be directed to a table where the medications can be placed and the student name and any other information will be recorded by the nurse. The information will be documented in the student’s electronic health record.
  • Staff at the drop-off location will be wearing face coverings and/or appropriate PPE.
  • Parents should also wear a face covering when dropping off medications.
  • Any parent who cannot drop off their student’s medications as scheduled is encouraged to email Beth Callahan at to make other arrangements.
