Filed in BCHS, Student Spotlight by on November 10, 2020

Congratulations to Bethlehem Central High School student Brayden Karn who recently participated in The Metropolitan Opera’s HD Live In Schools virtual performance of the “Prisoners’ Chorus” from Beethoven’s Fidelio.

The Met’s HD Live in Schools program brings opera to students across the nation and around the world. The district has participated in the program for the last 10 years. Through opera performances, interdisciplinary classroom resources, and virtual interactions with Met stars, the HD Live in Schools program is dedicated to making opera both accessible and exciting for young audiences.

Brayden was one of only 30 students from around the country to take part in the first-of-its-kind student virtual ensemble performance by The Met.

Bravo, Brayden!
