BCHS Morning Announcements

Just a reminder that all Guest Authorization forms for the Senior Ball are due back no later than May 29th.

Only 9 spots remain for the Japan trip. Don’t get waitlisted. If you want to ensure a spot, stop in room D-103 and see Mr. Greco to obtain a permission slip.

The Student Helpdesk is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year. It is an inviting environment for students to learn about working with technology. No prior knowledge is necessary. If you are thinking about a career in technology, or just want to learn more about how an IT organization works, join our Help Desk team. Applications for the Internship program are being sent out to your @bethlehemschools.org email, or are available online through the technology page on the BCSD website. You can also inquire at the Student Helpdesk. Applications are open until June 1st.

From now until May 31st, a question box about mental health and eating disorders will be placed outside the cafeteria. Feel free to leave any questions about the subject for them to be answered on the morning announcements.

Anyone who is interested in playing football at any level next season, there will be a MANDATORY meeting today, Thursday, May 23rd at 2:15 in room D-238. Please see Coach Carlino with any concerns.

VJCAT’s performance of Twelfth Night will be performed on Friday, and Saturday, May 24th and 25th at 7pm and Sunday, May 26th at 2pm in room G-100. Tickets are $5 at the door.

Student Senate is hosting a blood drive on May 29th. Sign-ups are taking place outside the cafeteria during lunch periods now until May 27th. Donors will receive a $5.00 gift Amazon card and a free shirt. Please consider donating.

Bethlehem is hosting the NYS High School Ultimate Frisbee Championship this weekend. We will be hosting 30 teams from across the state. Come out for an exciting event. This is an all-day tournament starting at 9am Saturday and Sunday.

If you have any school supplies that are leftover from this school year that can be reused, please drop them off at one of the designated drop-off boxes that the Environmental Club will be providing. The boxes will be there throughout the exam weeks.

Attention students who took the National Spanish Exam: Please join us for a small celebration which will include cake, snacks, certificates and medals on Thursday, May 30th in the cafeteria at 2:15.

If you signed up for the Spring Cabaret, there will be a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday, May 29th at 2:15 in room D-130. Please have your song chose and a karaoke track if needed.
