More than 50 BCMS students were honored Wednesday, February 8 at the school’s second Character Awards Breakfast of the 2016-17 school year.

The group was treated to a breakfast by our local Kiwanis Organization and the district’s food services staff. Students were then presented with certificates for their exemplary behavior in school.

The character award recognizes students on the character strengths of hope, appreciation of beauty and excellence and social intelligence throughout the marking period. Students who are nominated by their team teachers and other staff receive certificates signed by Hall Principal Kenneth Rizzo. The program, now in its tenth year, is an integral part of the Middle School’s Character Education program.
