The Bethlehem Central Middle School Debate Club will host a Debate Night at BCMS on Friday, May 31 at 7 p.m. in the school’s Library Media Center (LMC). The event is open to the public.

Founder of the Debate Club and eighth-grader Henry Reichman said the newly formed BCMS Debate Club will debate two interesting topics: Lowering the Voting Age, and the Death Penalty.

Moderators for the event include Town Supervisor David Van Luven, School Board member Willow Baer, and Albany County Legislator Joanne Cunningham.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun, with interesting discussions and cookies and snacks on hand after the debate,” said Henry Reichman. “If you know someone in the club, are interested in joining the club in the future, or just interested in a thought-provoking, fun night, come to the first ever Bethlehem Debate Night on Friday at the Middle School LMC!”
