Although school is out of session, students and community members have still been hard at work in the BCMS Garden! On Saturday, July 15, members of the BCMS Garden Club will be selling fresh, organically grown produce locally grown in the middle school gardens.

Items that will be available this weekend include carrots, green beans, garlic, onions, beets, Swiss chard, kale and cut flowers.

The Delmar Farmers Market takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bethlehem Central Middle School.

“So far this year the Garden Club has donated over 400 pounds of lettuce, 120 pounds of carrots, and 100 pounds of green beans,” said club advisor Mark Warford. “All proceeds directly benefit the middle school garden program.”
