BCMS students compete in Odyssey of the Mind World Finals

The BCMS team celebrating after completing Spontaneous problem
Over Memorial Day weekend the BCMS Odyssey of the Mind team consisting of students Charles Blanchard, Lilian Beiter, Fiona Castle, Tyler Novak and Claire Peretta, traveled to Michigan State University to compete in the World Finals Odyssey of the Mind competition.
With its second place finish at the New York State Odyssey of the Mind competition, these students qualified to represent New York and compete amongst droves of other teams from around the country and even the world. They even spent some time with their buddy team, who was from Korea!
Out of the 45 teams that competed in their problem and in their division (Problem 1, Division 2) the team from BCMS placed 16th. What a way to top a great year of Odyssey of the Mind competitions — congrats students!
