
Budget Hearing and Board of Ed meeting Weds. at 7p
The Bethlehem Central Board of Education will host its annual Budget Hearing on Wednesday, May 27 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held remotely as part of the regular Board of Education business meeting.
At the public hearing, the Board will review the proposed $103.5 million 2020-21 district budget that was adopted unanimously on May 11. The community budget vote and Board of Education election will take place on June 9. By order of the governor, all school voting statewide will be by absentee ballot only.

There are two ways to participate in this year’s Budget Hearing:
- View the May 27 meeting live on the district’s YouTube events channel. You can submit budget comments or questions ahead of the hearing by emailing bcsdk12@gmail.com. Budget comments that are emailed before 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday will be entered into the hearing record and any budget questions will be answered during the hearing, if possible. Please include your name and address in your email.
- You can participate in a live Q & A via Zoom as part of the May 27 meeting. To participate you will need to download Zoom prior to the meeting. Click here to attend the meeting via Zoom on May 27 at 7 p.m. All participants via the Zoom will have to submit their name and email, and will use the Q & A feature that can be found at the bottom of the Zoom meeting screen (see image below).
