CANCELLED: Jan. 26 PSAT & Virtual Day

The PSAT Exam, originally scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021 at BCHS, has been cancelled due to continuing COVID-19 health and safety concerns. The Virtual Day that had been scheduled for Jan. 26 will become a regular school day for students. Tuesday, Jan. 26 is a “B” day under the current hybrid schedule. 

Students will attend classes the week of January 25, 2021. Teachers in some classes have chosen to provide in-class mid-term exams. As a result, teachers will not be giving homework, quizzes or unit tests during the week of Jan. 25 to allow those students to prepared for exams. 

Juniors who have already paid for the PSAT will receive a full refund via the method of payment used for the registration fee. Juniors will also be eligible to take the SAT in the spring.

National Merit Scholarship Program

The National Merit Scholarship Program usually honors the students with the top 5% of scores on the PSAT. This year only, The College Board is allowing students to use any SAT score from August 2020 to June 2021 in lieu of the PSAT score to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.
