Looking ahead

  • The Junior College & Career program will start in November and run through December.
  • Seniors – Hand your green sheets in well in advance of your college deadlines.  Don’t put it off until the last minute!
  • Seniors – The following colleges will have Instant Decision Days in November:  HVCC (Nov 6th), SUNY Brockport (Nov 14th) and The College of St. Rose (Nov 20th).  Sign-up for interviews in the Counseling Center.
  • Juniors & Seniors who are interested in applying for the scholarships that are awarded during the Academic Awards Ceremony in May, should apply through the Google Classroom page. This page has all the information you need about the scholarships as well as the application information and deadlines.

American Legion Auxiliary – Department Scholarship

A $1000 award, Candidates must be children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama, Persian Gulf, Iraq or Afghanistan. Four recommendations and volunteer work are required.  Applications available on Naviance. Deadline: March 1, 2020

American Legion Auxiliary – Department District Scholarship

A$1000 award, Candidates must be children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama, Persian Gulf, Iraq or Afghanistan. Four recommendations and volunteer work are required.  Applications available on Naviance. Deadline:  March 1, 2020

Candidates must be children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama, Persian Gulf, Iraq or Afghanistan. Four recommendations and volunteer work are required. Applications available on Naviance. Deadline:  March 1, 2020

American Legion Auxiliary – Maryann K Murtha Memorial Scholarship

Candidates must be children, grandchildren, or great grandchildren of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama, Persian Gulf, Iraq or Afghanistan. Four recommendations and volunteer work are required. A 700 word essay is also required.  Applications available on Naviance. Deadline:  March 1, 2020

American Legion Auxiliary – Parley Scholarship in Medical Field

Candidates shall be children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during WWI, WWII, The Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama, the Persian Gulf and War on Terrorism. Must be a resident of NY State and a senior in high school.

A $1000 award Candidates must be children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of veterans who served in the Armed Forces during WWI, WWII, Korean Conflict, Vietnam War, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama, Persian Gulf, Iraq or Afghanistan. Four recommendations and volunteer work are required.  Applications available on Naviance. Deadline:  March 1, 2020

Sons of the American Legion – The Cerullo Memorial Scholarship Fund Rules

Candidates must be a member in the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of the American Legion in NY and in their senior year of high school.  Applications available on Naviance.  Deadline:  March 1, 2020
