The Bethlehem Central School District is excited to announce a new free tutoring service for BC high school and middle school students, provided by Paper.
Paper is a secure, online tutoring service that provides students with unlimited, 24/7 academic support. Whether they’re stuck on homework, studying for a test, or need someone to read and make suggestions to their essays, there will always be experts available online to assist students in over 200 subjects.
Paper tutors have been specially trained to conduct expert, academic support in a secure, chat-based platform. With a commitment to helping students learn, the tutors don’t provide students with answers, but rather interact with them in an encouraging tone to lead them forward.
This is a free service that the school district is providing, so students are encouraged to use it as much as they need, whenever they need it. BCHS and BCMS teachers also have accounts and will be able to review all student activity to see what their students are working on and provide more targeted instruction as needed.

To see Paper and the help it offers firsthand, parents are encouraged to log in with their students. To get started, a student can simply log into Clever using their Google credentials and click on the Paper icon. Alternatively, students can log in directly from the Paper homepage using their Google credentials.

When you hit a stumbling block on an assignment, Paper tutors will guide you and help you better understand where or why you’re stuck. Simply type in your problem, draw it out on the Paper whiteboard, or upload a file from any device. Paper tutors won’t give you the answers but they will stick with you for as long as it takes to get it right.
Essays
Paper is an extra set of eyes when you need it. Tutors review and annotate your writing, including feedback on style, structure, and grammar. From essays to lab reports, you can upload any written work along with your teacher’s instructions.

There’s no limit to how or what you can learn with Paper. Prepare for upcoming tests, get tips on how to grasp concepts effectively, and even get help with elective subjects.
