Eagle is collecting in November for district food drive

Filed in Eagle by on November 6, 2017

For many years, the Bethlehem Central School District community has given generously to many causes, including feeding hungry families in and around our area. In 2017-18, we will continue to host food donation drives to help eliminate food insecurity and hunger for children and adults.

As part of our district food drive program, Eagle will host food donations for the month of November. To maximize our efforts and ensure your donations are used as part of a well-balanced, family-friendly meal plan, each school will host a food drive during one month of the school year and each grade level will have a suggested item(s) they will be asked to donate. A list of these items can be found below:

  • Kindergarten – Boxes of Cereal (individual servings), boxes of instant Oatmeal packets
  • First Grade – Canned Goods: Fruits and Vegetables (that children like)
  • Second Grade – Pasta, macaroni dinners, macaroni & cheese
  • Third Grade – Peanut butter, jelly, juice boxes
  • Fourth Grade – Snacks: Granola bars, microwave popcorn, pudding cups, graham crackers,
  • Fifth Grade – Canned goods: Tuna, soup and dinners like chili and stew

As always, thank you for your support of our community!
