Eagle cuts ribbon on new playground

On Friday, September 20, Eagle Elementary School cut the ribbon on its new playground. The event was the culmination of eight years of planning, fundraising and construction. The new playground features adaptive equipment designed to help students with special sensory needs and other developmental disabilities. Eagle is home to the district’s Extended School Year program which takes place every summer and its playground is used year-round by children across the district.

Funding for the Eagle playground renovation was made possible through a combination of funds from the 2016 Capital Bond Project and a successful fundraising effort spearheaded by the Eagle PTO.
