Eagle Silent Auction to be Tues., Nov. 7

Filed in Eagle by on October 18, 2017

Save the Date for Eagle Elementary School PTO’s 7th Annual Silent Auction on Tuesday, November 7 at 6:00 p.m.

Preparations are in full swing for our biggest fundraiser and with your help it will be bigger and better than ever!

How Does It Work?

The Silent Auction committee has been hard at work for the past few months securing a wide array of items from businesses and individuals.  Then on Nov. 7th we hold a silent auction at the school where Eagle families and friends have a chance to bid and win those items.  In addition to the fabulous silent auction items there will be raffle items, activities to keep the kids busy while adults bid, and delicious refreshments for all that attend.

How Can I Help?

A fundraiser of this size will go a long way toward further enriching the lives of our children and supporting our wonderful Eagle staff.   There are a few ways you can make it successful:

  1. Attend the Silent Auction and Bid!  Invite your friends and family or bid on their behalf!  Thanks to the hard work of our soliciting we have a large array of donated items so there is something for everyone!
  2. Volunteer your time – If you are interested in helping out at the event, check out our VolunteerSpot link to see areas that could use volunteers. Or email and let us know you would like to help!
  3. Donate a Silent Auction Item

Our hard-working soliciting team has already solicited many, many businesses but we are always on the lookout for unique and unusual items!

    • Perhaps you have a personal or home-based business that we don’t have on our list yet?
    • Maybe you can offer one date of your season tickets to a favorite sports team?
    • Or maybe you went to College of St. Rose with Jimmy Fallon and can get tickets to The Tonight Show whenever you want them?

**Please contact if you have something you would like to donate or have a business you think we should contact**

  4. Donate to Grade Level Raffles (See below)

Finally, we would like to continue the tradition of themed raffle baskets put together by each of the grades.  If you are able to donate an item to your grade level’s “themed basket” it would be greatly appreciated.  The list of themes as well as more information can be found below.

Eagle Elementary PTO Silent Auction needs your help!

The following is a list of themed baskets, prepared by each grade, which will be raffled off at the 7th Annual Silent Auction on Tuesday, November 7.
If you are able to donate an item to your grade’s themed basket it would be a great help! These small donations add up quickly to a basket that everyone wants to win. In the past, some families have pooled their funds to donate larger items for their grade’s theme.
Simply have your child bring in the item to his/her teacher or drop it off in the main office – be sure to label the item for the specific teacher or grade. The Eagle teachers help put together the baskets once all the items are in.

We ask that all items be sent in by Friday, November 3.

Thank you!
