Elsmere Spring Food drive

Filed in Elsmere by on March 29, 2019

Elsmere will be doing a Spring Food drive during the month of April.

For many years, the Bethlehem Central School District community has given generously to many causes, including helping to feed families in and around our area.

In 2018-19, we are continuing to host food donation drives to help eliminate food insecurity and hunger for children and adults right here in our community. To maximize our efforts and ensure your donations are use as apart of a well-balanced, family-friendly meal plan, each school is hosting a food drive during one month of the school year and each grade level will have suggested item(s) they will be asked to donate. A list of these items can be found bellow:

  • Kindergarten – Boxes of cereal (individual servings), boxes of individual packets of oatmeal or individual servings
  • Grade 1 – Canned goods: Fruit, vegetables (that children like)
  • Grade 2 – Pasta, macaroni dinners, macaroni & cheese
  • Grade 3 – Peanut butter and jelly (plastic containers), 100% juice boxes
  • Grade 4 – Snacks: Granola bars, microwave popcorn, pudding cups, graham crackers, individual Goldfish packets
