Grab & Go meals for children while schools are closed

Free “grab-and-go” breakfast and lunch for children will continue to be available for pick-up every morning, Monday-Friday, at Bethlehem Central High School while schools are closed to reduce the spread of COVID-19/Coronavirus.

Those picking up meals should come to the Van Dyke Road entrance on the side of the school, near the cafeteria (not the main entrance). To keep traffic disruption to a minimum, please note the following pick-up schedule:

Monday thru Friday:

  • 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. – Last names beginning A-M
  • 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. – Last names beginning N-Z

Please do not leave your vehicle. Our staff will bring meals out to you.

Meals are free to all students whether a student receives free meals during the normal school year or not. All children ages 18 and younger can get meals. The meals will be available Mondays through Fridays while schools are closed during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Each meal will include both breakfast and lunch for that day. We will do our best to accommodate special diets and allergies.

If you participate in the District’s weekend backpack program food that would normally be provided weekly in your child’s backpack will be available every Friday at the high school pick-up spot. If you did not pick up your child’s backpack food today, Friday, 3/20, you can pick up your backpack food on Monday, 3/23, between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. If you are having difficulty getting to the high school for meal or backpack pick-up, please email Food Service Director Allissa Eiser at aeiser@bethlehemschools.org or call 518-439-8885.
