Guidelines for June 4 Senior Banquet at Jericho Drive-In

Filed in Archive by on May 29, 2020

An important message for students and families of the BCHS Class of 2020 from Principal Dave Doemel:

The Senior Banquet will be held Thursday, June 4 at the Jericho Drive-In. The banquet will begin at 9 p.m. and will last about an hour.

During the banquet, you will find out who the Senior Superlative winners are and see the debut of the Senior Slideshow. This event is for BC seniors only. This a student-only event. The slideshow will be distributed to families at a later date.

We are asking that during the banquet all attendees remain in their cars unless there is an emergency. The bathrooms will be open, but for emergency use only. If you have to leave your car, you will be required to wear a mask and keep a minimum of 6 feet of distance between you and other people. This will include using the restrooms.

For the safety of everyone, please make every effort to stay in your car during the presentations.

Popcorn will be served to students who would like it. Teacher chaperones and employees at Jericho will bring it directly to your car. If you would like water or a different type of snack, please bring it with you.

IMPORTANT: A student who does not have a car and/or license may come with a parent who will wait with them. However, if a student can drive we are asking that they do so to limit the number of people attending for safety reasons. Because this is a school event, students are allowed to drive past the ordinary  9 p.m. curfew.

I am looking forward to a safe and fun night to start the celebration of the Class of 2020. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You can contact me by email at
