Hamagrael gears up to support Ride for Missing Children

Hamagrael Elementary School is gearing up to support the 2018 Ride for Missing Children (RFMC), which will make a stop at the school on Friday, September 21, 2018.

The Ride for Missing Children is a 100-mile bicycle ride that brings awareness to missing children cases and raises money to support the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s New York regional office’s ongoing work. Hundreds of bicyclists join rides in Rochester, Buffalo, Utica, Albany and Syracuse, raising funds along the way. Each registered rider wears a pin of a missing child that they are riding for.

Hamagrael is proud to have parents, teachers and friends who will be riding on as a school team. The Hamagrael riders will pedal 100 miles, two-by-two, passing through many communities along the way. The school is one of several special locations where riders will hydrate and refuel. Students and the Hamagrael school community will be able to provide the riders with some needed encouragement, while the riders will help deliver important safety messages for students.
