Holiday Caring and Sharing Drive is underway

Filed in Archive by on December 1, 2016

All schools in the Bethlehem Central School District are participating in a Holiday Caring and Sharing Drive that will provide assistance for community families in need during the holiday season. For several years, generous community sponsors and district families have helped the district provide holiday meals and gift cards for families ahead of the December break.

Each school is collecting different non-perishable food items during the month of December. Families of students at each school are being asked to donate, when possible, food items that will be packaged for the holidays and shared with district families in need. Suggested lists for each grade level are being shared with parents by each of the schools. The donated food will be distributed on Saturday, December 17.

Are you a family in need of assistance?

If you are a family who has received assistance through the Holiday Caring and Sharing Drive in the past or if you are a family needing help this year, please contact your child’s principal or school nurse now through Friday, December 9. (Also, if you know of a district family who could benefit from this effort, please share this information.)
