
HS student Chromebook distribution dates
Our BC Technology Department has been hard at work on the 2017-18 rollout of our Power of One Chromebook initiative, which will provide a Chromebook to every student in grades 3-12 to enhance personalized learning.
Only the high school will be using a “take-home” model where students will use the devices while at school and will be able to bring them home every day. Every BCHS student will receive a Chromebook at no cost.
Distribution of Chromebooks to high school students will take place in the BCHS Library Media Center (LMC) on the following dates:

- Senior Day (before/after the Senior College Planning Meeting at 12 noon) –
Thursday, Aug 24, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. - Open pick up (Grades 10-12) – Thursday, Aug 24, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Open pick up (Grades 10-12) – Friday, Aug 25, 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Open pick up (Grades 10-12) – Saturday, Aug 26, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Open pick up (Grades 10-12) – Wednesday, Aug 30, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
- Freshman Orientation – Wednesday, Sept 6, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Open pick up (Grades 10-12) – Wednesday, Sept 6, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- Senior Day (before/after the Senior College Planning Meeting at 12 noon) –

All forms and the Power of One Chromebook handbook were shared with students and parents earlier this month. These forms included the District’s One-to-One Program Guidelines, which must be signed by a parent/guardian This signed document is the ticket students will need to pick up the Chromebook device.
