Dear Elsmere Families,

Can it be December already? I have always found

Image of three pine trees with Charles Dickens' quote, "Of all the months of the year there is not a month one half so welcome to the young, or so full of happy associations, as the last month of the year."this time to be such a fun, happy and cozy season, brimming with fun and deeply meaningful activities at school. With “Kindness” as our theme this month, this trend is sure to continue! Many thanks to our amazing students and staff for embracing last month’s theme of Gratitude and a special congratulations to those honored at our last assembly.

Winter wear

As the weather starts to get colder, we hope every little finger is kept warm outside. If you need any mittens, coats or other winter wear, please contact the office. We go outside every day for recess except in rain and extreme cold, so please be sure your child is prepared with warm outerwear. When the snow arrives, snow pants and boots are required to play in the white stuff.

Caring and Sharing Collection

The BC Caring and Sharing Collection has started. Please sign up to donate something if you are able or contact the office if you are in need.

A big congratulations to our 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Barcomb, who welcomed her new baby Kensley to the world on November 22.

And of course, our photos from the week. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead.

Sincerely,

Kate Kloss
