Dear Elsmere Families,
Happy first official week of spring! I was so busy last Friday that I missed sending the newsletter to you – so, here it is!
We blasted into the season with a wonderful week, complete with a visit from Lucky the Leprechaun. See more fun photos from St. Patrick’s Day here and tons of other March photos here.
Last Friday, we held our first district Wellness Day by spending the day learning about and engaging in activities that promoted good physical and mental health (optimal for learning!) Students and their buddy class cycled together through Wellness Themed stations, which included physical activity, focusing, creativity and appreciation. Many thanks to our amazing Elsmere staff who planned and ran these stations: Mr. Ridgway, Mr. Cosco, Mrs. Lord, Mrs. Lawrence, Mrs. Greenman, Ms. Simmons, Mrs. Meyer, Mrs. Lasky, Mrs. Christopher and Mrs. Howell.
Reminder: Animal Print or Animal Picture Attire on Thursday, March 24.
The BCUEA drive for homeless pets, which continues until Friday, March 25, is going very well. Thank you for your donations!
Your pet photos/drawing are adorable. Please keep sending them in. This has been a great way for children to share how they practice responsibility, plus
we all enjoy seeing these cute pictures of your children’s lives outside of school.
