Dear Elsmere Families,

Good afternoon! Tonight, we are holding our Family Formal night, 6-8pm courtesy of the Elsmere P.T.A. This should be a great family event for all! The children have been learning the dances this week from the Homespun Dancers group and are ready to go! We look forward to seeing many of you here tonight.

Tomorrow is the Applebee’s pancake breakfast to support the P.T.A. from 8-10am. Stop by for breakfast and to support a great cause!

I want to thank the entire Elsmere community for your support in getting your children to school on time and prepared for learning and activities throughout the day. For students to be successful, it is critical that they be here every day, focused, and ready to learn. Hopefully when sickness hits, it leaves quickly! Students are encouraged to wash hands frequently and cough into their elbows to limit the spread of germs. In addition, the children have been able to get outside and enjoy the snow due to your continued efforts in seeing that they bring everything they need for recess. We stress in school that the children are responsible to remember what they need, however, being the parent of two teenaged boys, I remember that being a “group effort!”

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Andy Baker
