Letter from Interim Principal Laurel Jones, Jan. 12

Eagle Families,

As we are just about halfway through the year I wanted to take the time to review arrival and dismissal procedures.

Arrival

  • The first bell rings for students to enter the building at 9:10 am.  Please do not drop students off before then.
  • Students are welcome to enter the building without being signed-in until 9:20.
  • Once the second bell rings at 9:20 (and the front doors close), please sign your student in at the main office. They will be marked tardy.

Dismissal

  • If your child has a change in their regular dismissal procedure (they are being picked up or going to a friend’s house), please send a note to school with your child.
  • If you have an unplanned change in dismissal, please call the main office before 3 pm. The end of the day is a very busy time for our main office and we want to make sure everyone gets safely to the correct location.

If your child will be absent, please notify the main office before 9:30 at 518-694-8825. Safety is very important to us and we need to make sure every child is accounted for every day.

Unfortunately, this rainy weather is wrecking our snow! However, please continue to send in snow gear and watch the temperatures as we never know what mother nature will bring. It is always a good idea to have an extra set of clothing in the backpack (some snow gear is not 100% waterproof).
