Letter from Principal Heffernan, June 20

Filed in Glenmont by on June 20, 2018

Dear Families,

The 2017-18 school has come to an end.  It has been a wonderful year!  Many thanks to all of you for your support throughout the year communicating with your child’s teachers, assisting your child with being prepared for school each day, and visiting and volunteering for events at our school.  We are grateful for each and every member of our Glenmont community.

Report cards will be posted in the next few days on Aspen. We’ll be sure to send an email to you alerting you as to when they are ready.

One of our art teachers Mrs. Colleen Sieme and two of our classroom aides, Mrs. Lori Hill and Mrs. Arlene Rappoccio, are retiring.  Congratulations to them!  In addition, noon aide Mrs. Beth Muller and classroom aide Mrs. Christine DeCancio will be leaving Glenmont for new chapters in their lives. Best wishes to all of these individuals!

To our fifth graders and their families, especially those families who have “graduated” from Glenmont Elementary with your child:  Good luck next year! We will miss you!

I wish everyone a very happy and healthy summer. Be sure to visit the library and read a lot of books.  We’ll see you again before you know it.

Sincerely,

Laura Heffernan
